I guess this is legal, but it kinda seems like it shouldn't be. If I understand the story correctly, Bloomberg is paying a whole bunch of lawyers that are basically working as "contractors" for liberal-leaning state attorneys to push their agendas and resources past where the tax dollars assigned by budgets would allow.

This seems a bit shady compared to say, NGOs working on those agendas separately.

They forgot the sub-headline that said Bloomberg modified his will to leave all his money to the Clinton Foundation.

That is messed up.  Sounds like a backdoor bribe since "govt employees/contractors" are taking money from a 3rd party.  Do they represent the AG office or the 3rd party?

My favorite part of Bloomberg's comments about farming is that he actually says he can teach people how to farm (which would be precious enough all by itself), just before he demonstrates how very, very little he knows about that subject. I hope, if there's an opening, President Trump will nominate him for SecAg. Just for about 24 hours of course, and then rescind it. Just long enough for some lulz.

Not about "Elana" specifically, my question is: When did the "culinary union" get so powerful? I don't know that I've even heard of them before, or at least didn't pay attention. Now for the last couple of weeks all I read is stuff about the dem candidates either kowtowing to them or pissing this union off at their peril.

When did the "culinary union" get so powerful?
They have been a factor in the Nevada Dem primary for awhile now, I don't know that their member voting power extends significantly beyond that race though.
In the moral, catatonic stupor America finds itself in today it is only disagreement we seek, and the more virulent that disagreement, the better.

Looks like George Zimmerman is suing a couple of the candidates:

Also, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's synopsis of tonight's debate. Sounds like all of them will be going after Bloomberg.

Bloomberg explaining how healthcare will “bankrupt us,” unless we deny care to the elderly.

“If you show up with cancer & you’re 95 years old, we should say...there’s no cure, we can’t do anything.

A young person, we should do something. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”

I saw another tweet that said Bloomberg is everything that the left accused Trump of being.

Bloomberg is paying people $2500/mo to say nice things about him on social media.

I wonder what sort of hours they expect for that job.   :P

It appears someone is being paid pretty good to do opposition research on Bloomberg.

Bloomberg apparently was ravaged in last night's debate. I still greatly dislike him as an arrogant hypocrite, but he did get one good exchange in:

Quote
SANDERS: "Rich people and wealth are bad!"

BLOOMBERG: “What a wonderful country we have. The best known socialist in the company happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What did I miss?”

SANDERS: “I do have a summer camp. Forgive me for that.”

A "Summer camp"? WTF is that - a tent with a wood stove? Weak.
