We had an interesting one pass through last evening. Nothing like what's being described here, but you could see the storm line approaching from the west. It was really neat watching it hit Dulles Airport.
It didn't seem to be too terrible out here, but the closer I got to home the more damage I saw. Had some problems getting through intersections where the traffic lights were out. Had to do some back tracking to get around major ones.
Lost power at the house briefly, but this morning there are still over 16k customers without power here in Virginia.
