Lousy shooting from the ships, though.  They didn't hit the access pathways even once.

I thought I read the whole place was covered in slit trenches.  Were those filled in or were they under the side walks?

Not Pointe du Hoc. Just bunkers and gun emplacements.

I thought the drone was flying too fast. Even though I've been to Pointe du Hoc, I couldn't begin to relate until I slowed the video down to 50% speed and restarted it.
