If it bleeds it leads.  Also consider that the MSM which includes nearly all of the stats shown, also have an agenda that mirrors the so called "progressive" or Democrat Left political position

I'd like to see a chart showing some sort of age adjusted metric.  Many of the "under reported" causes of death are things that are more likely to kill us as we get older which means we (somewhat accurately) file those causes of death away as inevitable death by old age.
