Soda may kill you but coffee might save you

An inverse association between coffee drinking and mortality.  In other words, the more coffee you drink (up to a point), the less dead you are.

I'm testing that hypothesis in both quality and quantity.

Interesting that the study showed high coffee intake associated with both instant coffee and smokers.

I'm in the 1-3 cups camp. Well, my cups are 14oz, so maybe  I should start smoking.

Coffee (other than decaf) would render me very dead. Since my heart operation in 2014 I can't have any caffeine.

I'm cruising at 48 oz every morning.

Dunkin Donuts in my French Press.

Somewhere in the 16oz camp.  A little less some days.  I used to drink a ton more and would sometimes just drink a whole pot during the day.  Had to force myself to break the habit and drink more water.

I really run the gamut between my one and three cups. Like this morning, I just had one and I'm done. My usual pattern when it's hot. In colder weather I'll usually drink two in the morning, and then another later in the day, like when I've just come in from doing stuff outside, or else keep some in a thermos while I'm doing stuff outside.

I need to up my coffee game.  I usually just drink folgers, but man someone gave us some coffee earlier this year fresh from south america and it was freaking delicious.

Today was one cup, followed by pre workout which has caffeine just before my 30 mile fasted bike ride.

Inveterate coffee hound 10-12 cups a day.

Reminds me of the old joke about Voltaire, who used to drink 20 cups a day and lived until he was  80.  Or was it 80 cups a day and he lived until he was 20....?

Dunkin' coffee is a nice step up and it won't break the bank. I've started using it at home.

At work it's whatever is in the coffee pot unless someone makes a batch of foo-foo flavored nastiness. If that happens I have an emergency stash of instant.

Between Pre-workout, 2-4 cups of coffee, and supplements with caffeine, I might have already died and just not noticed yet.  I'm doing very well on controlling sugar though.

Shoot me your address and what kind of roasts you like on FB and I'll get you some Black Rifle inbound.  I owe you some drinks anyway, and they are a solid coffee provider.  You have a grinder?
