Friend needs gun safety help in Virginia
« on: September 13, 2019, 09:31:45 PM »
Any of y'all in Virginia? I know a woman who needs to be made familiar with a couple rifles she owns. She doesn't know how to load, clean, make safe, etc. I'm hoping I might know someone who's willing to help her out.

I would help her out myself, but I'm way over in Oregon. I was gonna see if she might be interested in joining APS.

Where at, we got a crew. I have run training and competition ranges and I can keep it all down range without going all instructor Earl. Be glad to help.

About 90 minutes from Fredericksburg. Said there's a popular range about halfway between.

Winchester, she says.

I'm about 45 minutes from winchester but might not be available to do such duties for a couple weeks.  Is she SAHM or does it need to be a weekend?
I'm normally off Thurs/Fri with every other Sat thrown in there for good measure.  I've got a lot of trips and events over the next two months but depending on her flexibility could work something out.
It might be easier to connect us on facebook so I can figure out exactly what she needs.
FYI Mtnbkr and Irwin are up the road from me, maybe another 15-20 minute drive for them to Winchester

If it happens fast enough, I'd be willing to come out and help, but unfortunately I'll probably be out of commission for quite some time in the coming month or two.

I'm probably 50-60 minutes from Winchester.
