Reviving the thread because I got an email from Youtube TV yesterday. Suddenly, they are claiming that ALL recorded content (to your Youtube library DVR) will be either commercial free or allow fast forwarding through commercials. Recall in a post above I noted that shows on some networks, like CBS, force commercials even on DVR'd content.

I'm curious if Disney+ or something else (like user complaints) finally got them to work with those networks to allow it. Though I then wonder why those networks (who have or are starting their own services) went along with it.

Also, this morning I stumbled across a service I've never heard of before:

Packages start at ten bucks more than Youtube, but they seem to have more content. I just found it so have to dig in a bit more to see if it's reliable. Other than lacking some channels, and up to now the forced commercials, I've been fairly happy with Youtube TV.
