Never saw the TV program.  Been reading the books since the very first one came out.

That's great news.  I had looked Tuesday for the air date and it hadn't been released yet.  Now I can plan my trip to Oregon to binge watch it with my Dad.

I'd rate the show better than longmire.

I'd rate the show better than longmire.

And Longmire was pretty darn good, so that should tell you something.

My Dad turned me on to the Bosch book series many years ago.  Every one that I've read has been enjoyable, hard to put down.
Michael Connelly once said in an interview that he envisioned the Bosch of his books as being quite different in looks and mannerisms than the way Titus Welliver plays him.  But now when thinks of Bosch, he sees the Titus Welliver character.  His perspective changed and he was quite happy about it.
I haven't read any of his recent Bosch books since the Amazon series started, so I don't know if there has been any impact on the way he writes the character.

Well, you monkeys were right about Bosch. And I'm only one season in, so no spoilers!

I will take it as a recommendation.  The Expanse Season 4 starts up on the 13th so I will be busy with that once it arrives.
