Yorkshire Pudding!
« on: December 19, 2019, 08:56:02 PM »
I just ate this for the first time ever today; I just made this for the first time today too! And if I don't die of clogged arteries I will do it again. Had a pan of beef drippings because the grocery store was selling NY strip roasts for under $5/lb. Was lovely. Not being British, but Appalachian-American, it reminds me of corn pudding without the corn.

I'm so contrarian that I didn't respond to the thread.

I've not made it for some years, but yeah, it's a tasty addition to a roast. I think the last time I made it I made it with a roasted chicken.

They can be really good, if you make 'em right. Congrats on your discovery, French.
