Trump Drives the Daytona 500
« on: February 15, 2020, 08:24:36 AM »
Oh man, I never watch this, but I have to this year. Trump apparently plans to attend and do a lap in the presidential limo.

This is going to cause some very entertaining liberal outrage.

Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

wow , first i heard of this ....
can we vote for four more terms instead of four more yrs?

Watched it. That was great. After leading the first lap he got on the radio and wished the drivers good luck and thanked them for the honor of leading the lap.

And regarding the crash, it's about 50-50 between "The driver was a Trump supporter so deserved it" and 'Trump caused the crash".

I was scrolling FB last night and saw something about "Trump Breaks Law with Lap Around Daytona!!". It was someone who is a die hard spittle-spewing leftist so I didn't bother to open the post, but it didn't surprise me.

Ive been seeing images of Obama driving around in the limo with Jerry Seinfeld. Pretty sure we can find similar stuff with pretty much every past president.

I saw a response to a tweet from some leftist complaining about taxpayers paying for Trump's visit to Daytona.  I guess this person was completely unaware of the travel costs Obama racked up.

Not just Obama. How about some of the jaunts Michele took, many with the daughters and her mother, at taxpayer expense and with full entourage?

the known total for travel expenses for the Obamas is now $114,691,322.17.
No small chunk of change. However, the Trumps are supposedly on track to spend more than that.
Personally, I think there are bigger things to complain about with either one of them.
In the moral, catatonic stupor America finds itself in today it is only disagreement we seek, and the more virulent that disagreement, the better.

I remember Hillary and Chelsea did a lot of traveling at taxpayer expense, especially during Billy Jeff's second term. With full entourage, of course.
