Vegan carrot bacon

I may very well try this so as to have an option for a vegan appetizer when our vegan relatives come over.  It seems to be very popular right now on Facebook.

When impossible Burger had its 15 minutes of fame, the head of Whole Foods came out and said Whole Foods would not be carrying it because it was the very opposite of whole food:  the faux burger is one of the most overprocessed food in existence.

A few hipster heads must have exploded if they were not thinking of what Whole Foods is really about, and only saw WF as a store for the cool and hip.

I've had a couple of Impossible Whoppers... Other than the consistency of the patty being kind of wonky, they're actually pretty damned good.

Friend of mine can't eat beef or other mammal meat. Alpha Gal.

He's been talking about trying some of the meat substitutes, but I don't know if he has yet.

I thought Alpha Gal is what you called the leader of a hyena clan.

I keep seeing The Puke Palace with Re: Vegan carrot bacon being the most recent topic when I look at the Main Forums page and can't help but think how appropriate
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Vegan carrot bacon.  That's just wrong, not to mention a contradiction in terms.  And it's just wrong.
Oh, and did I mention that it's wrong?
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Cover baby carrots in brown sugar and pecan mix. Wrap in real bacon and bake until crispy. Fixed.

Don't know about the pecans, but I'd be willing to give it a try because bacon.
