If Trump really was a wannabee fascist dictator wouldn't he have already packed the court?
I mean he has the votes, he could have added two more seats to SCOTUS within the last two years.
That would have neutralized the left wing of the court before Ginsberg's seat became vacant.
Instead he's opted not to make a huge change that would help him immensely and has instead let things play out according to tradition.
He's not looking to upend anything, he just wants things to move along calmly as they've done in the past.
And then gets threatened with impeachment for following the constitution in making a nomination, as is his duty.
Weird times, weird times.
