A Black Lives Matter protest against police brutality and systemic racism was met with a counter-protest and turned violent when a car drove through the crowd in Yorba Linda on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26.

The driver, a 40-year-old woman described as a Black Lives Matter supporter, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder, authorities said.

Hoping that none of the injuries are serious, and that the driver gets what she deserves.

In fairness, given how I've made my feelings known in the other cars+protestors threads, I want to wait for more info on this:

People chased the car, which stopped a few hundred yards away from the scene of the incident and was surrounded by sheriff’s deputies.

The car had a shattered rear window with a flagpole sticking out of it. The windshield also was damaged.

Depending on how that damage happened, I may end up having to support the driver.

Depending on how that damage happened, I may end up having to support the driver.

If the video of the event is accurate, the damage was done by the pro-Trump folks attempting to stop the car after the driver had plowed through the demonstrators.  Two of the pro-Trump folks were seriously injured, one having two broken legs.
