No, you should not, if your expectation is that abortion will be outlawed throughout the USA.

Overturning Roe v. Wade would not ban abortion throughout the country.

It would allow states to ban human abortion, and some would do just that.

If fact several have been trying to.

Yes, it would rightly return it to the states as the Federal government has no enumerated power to regulate this. Only the fiction created by the courts.

But hey, they just did the same thing with gay marriage so we seem very unlikely to have the courts stop creating powers out of their personal preferences.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

I'm issuing a warning right now...abortion topics never go good here and this thread will be locked if it goes off the rails.

Would posting a picture of a human being killed by abortion make it get the thread locked?

I sincerely hope so.

Why would you even consider doing that? It's not like you're going to change anyone's opinion.

I figure some states still have the restriction on their books.

Legal abortion and all other legal evils are downstream of culture.

Not that I'm opposed to restrictions or outlawing it, on the contrary.

I just think that it is treating the symptom and not the cause.

Good people do good things and evil people do evil things generally, as a general rule.

When good people do evil or evil people do good it is noteworthy because it is the exception.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Well, I consider doing it because lots of people don't really know abortion kills a human being.

Seeing a small human body mutilated may make someone realize what abortion really is.

Remember the Germans who knew "something" was happening to Jews, but it was all out of sight, out of mind?

Seeing films on concentration camp victims open the mind and hearts of some of them, and made them consider what their government had been doing in secret.

I remember reading about german POWs who burned their uniforms after seeing army films of concentration camps.

Abortion involves cutting living human beings into pieces.

If abortion is morally acceptable, people should be willing to see the victims.

If a picture of a tiny dead human with her face cut off is offensive, maybe killing that human being is even more offensive?

Here is an interesting historical photo of German POWs watching concentration camp footage:

Some don't seem to care, but others are horrified.

Many of those who seem not to care may have just come from the Eastern Front where what they're seeing in the film was just another day on the job there

Going off-topic a bit: what is the significance of the cross-shaped patches some of the POWs are wearing?

"Medical personnel I would assume"

Yes.

Germans used the red cross to denote medical personnel during the war, as did most other Western nations. It seems that the Soviets did, as well.

The Japanese, I don't know. But they were very well known for targeting anything with a red cross on it, from medics to ambulances to hospital ships.

Ah... I've seen that in pictures before... I always wondered what the white arm band was... I figured some sort of REMF clerk or something.

Yeah, I knew they had a medical corps, I just didn't know how they were identified.

"403 Forbidden"

Looks like the Japanese weren't the only ones to use the red cross as a target.

Link works for me

As far as the "target" see third link, I think that will explain the hole
