I ain't your ally
« on: October 31, 2020, 09:00:42 PM »
This is something that's been kicking around in my head for a while, and I finally jotted it down this morning, and posted it to Ricochet.com. And what do you, know they published it.

The gist:
Quote
Americans of all colors are fellow citizens. I don’t accept being demoted to the arms-length position of “ally.”

Well said.

I might take slight issue with this part: "If you’re treating me differently because of my skin color, then maybe you’re the outsider to the cause."

Let's fix it:

"If you’re treating me differently because of my skin color, then maybe you’re the outsider to the cause racist."

You aren't going to escape being judged by the color of your skin white boy.

Now sit down and listen instead of asserting your privilege.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

That is going to happen naturally, at least on the right, if Trump actually gets the higher estimate percentages of Black and MexAmerican votes some are claiming he is going to get.

He is still pandering to them but not in the elitist condescending manner.

Like all things Trump, he is looking for a workable solution that they have had input on that gives them a hand up for their buy in, very pragmatic.

I dare not get my hopes up that there will actually materialize a coalition of those elusive natural conservative Black and Mexicans we've always heard of through the years.
