Perhaps because North Korea hasn't threatened to wipe Israel off the map while Iran has, regularly.

There are a lot of Muslims that don't like Iran either.  Maybe there is more to those peace deals with Israel than were made public.  

Also, back when Obama was President, there were rumors that Israel would attack Iran and the US (Kerry?) publicly told them not to.  I assume they might be thinking a Biden admin would go back to Obama ME policies.

No argument here.

I still have no issue with offing the Che of Iran in a public, brutal manner.

Personally were I in charge?  We'd have no presence short of QRF specops.  Conventional military in that region is just an IED/mortar magnet.
