Title: NSA data center has unfortunate "accident"

Darn shame, really. Electrical problems can be so... finicky. Well, beers for some certain electrical engineers here in PA. You know, to ease their sorrow and not in celebration of a job well done.

That's a very... interesting... and enheartening... thing to hear nowadays.  Good to hear that the contracted engineers are not rending garments and gnashing teeth over the affair.

I would say that a fire that burns down the entire building is a "Permanent Fix".

It breaks my heart that this happened.   >:D >:D

Isn't this typical of gummint at work?

Quote
A report by ACE in the Wall Street Journal said the government has incomplete information about the design of the electrical system that could pose new problems if settings need to change on circuit breakers. The report also said regular quality controls in design and construction were bypassed in an effort to "fast track" the project.

Translation: The .gov was so anxious to start spying on us that they couldn't even wait long enough to vette the design of the electrical system.

Brilliant.

This reminds of that movie Independence Day; the aliens blow up the White house and everyone cheers.  We just lost $2 billion and people are happy about it.

Maybe they should have designed it to handle 1.21 gigawatts.  If a DeLoran can take it, so should their building.

This story makes me happy.

Also remember the NSA and DISA's "solution" to whistleblowers is to fire most of their system admins.

I envision massively awesome IT implosions, and it will be GLORIOUS to behold

I'm just trying to figure out how Conspiracy Co-worker will turn this into a negative, and blame it on the Jooos. Little help?  ???

No good reason to cheer.
They will just build a new Death Star- using taxpayer money of course.

The one saving grace is that a government's capacity for evil is generally only exceeded by its capacity for incompetence.

I don't think capacitors are the problem.  ;)

Seeing as it was a .gov project, I'm thinking "Diversity Hiring" . . .

Remember who was POTUS then?  ;)

Better that two billion is wasted than turned against us . . .

NSA listens to everybody, including the Jooos. This means they can intercept information about the Evil Plan that the Jooos have together with the Reptilians from the Alpha Draconis system (Jooos wants gold, as everybody knows, and the Reptilians wants to consume our precious bodily fluids). Therefore, the data center had to suffer an "accident". The "accident" was carried out by a crack team of Illuminati and Knights Templar commandos led by a Freemason mystic with connections to the Catholic Church.

Nothing to worry about. They wouldn't knock or bang.

They'd murder your dog, breach your door with a water impulse charge, and shoot you in the face.

I'm very glad I left DISA's employ. Their systems were jacked up to begin with. Firing all those sysadmins just means you'll end up with more unreliable contractors in months or years.

Gentlemen.  The correct spelling is "Jews".   We are "Jewish".   I don't refer to you as "Zombie Worshippers" or other names.

So please show some respect.

Scott, when coming from a conspiracy believing nut job, they call them joos.  Their spelling certainly not mine.  I have respect for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.  There are a few liberal extremest that I have no respect for.
