Sadly, I doubt they'll learn their lesson. Have fun voting yourselves out of a job, morons.

Roberts and other UMWA members were arrested Thursday marching through Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, towards the federal building where the Environmental Protection Agency was holding field hearings for a new rule that could very well force more coal mines and plants to shut down.
Curious what they were actually arrested for.  Strange that it wasn't specified in either article.

There was another link in the article that said they were arrested for civil disobedience.

What's that line about giving them what they asked for "good and hard"?

Last page of that article said they were arrested for obstructing the sidewalk.

Unions and the EPA in the same place? Where's an asteroid when you need one?

Unions vs EPA is like a domestic Iran vs Iraq. Now if we can just get the DEA involved somehow...

Throw TSA in for good measure.

What's that line about giving them what they asked for "good and hard"?

HL Mencken-  Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.

Obama has been talking about shutting down coal plants for a while.  What was their excuse in 2012?

I'm happy the union idiots are going to feel the effects of their blind support of Democrats, however, we'll all be feeling it too.

They were arrested because they were not obedient.  I suspect many of us here might be at risk.  I know I am . . . .

I guess they weren't listening in January 2008 when Obama said this in a TV interview: "So, if somebody wants to build a coal plant, they can — it’s just that it will bankrupt them, because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted."

It's not like they weren't warned.
