Title: St. Louis: a tale of two bodies
Post by: Perd Hapley on January 19, 2015, 08:47:53 PM
Two people were killed Sunday night.

One killed, three critical, after car crash:

Vehicular homicide (http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/driver-slams-into-parked-car-in-st-louis-killing-and/article_245ce299-451b-5c3b-a55d-8c865abc0ad4.html)

One man killed in shooting:

Shooting. (http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/man-fatally-shot-outside-movie-theater-in-creve-coeur/article_e43efe0c-285c-5b50-9a73-9829f58aaeac.html)

Yet no one's trying to ban cars.

That theater is NOT a place where anyone would expect to get shot. It's in as safely middle-class a neighborhood as you could wish. Two of my favorite places to eat share a parking lot with it. Folks are rattled about it.
