So once again Biden can just say he would die the same
things Trump is already doing about COVID. Accelerated Vaccine, Money for Hospitals, Schools, etc. Blah blah. Then get praised for it.
Oh and they can ask again if Trump will condemn White Supremacists. Since no one in the media can remember anything that didn’t happen 10 secs ago...

I am sure they would try to attack Trump on how he didn't take action fast enough (even though he did while Democrats were calling him zenophobic) and not declaring a federal mask mandate.

I don't see the point in watching the debates. There won't be any new information or positions released by the candidates and all of their political platform positions are already well known. Any person who intends to vote should already have their decision made by now.

We’re meant to shrug off his “gaffes” because Biden is of a different generation.

In the first topic, I can see an opportunity for Trump to shine the light on China and the WHO while in the process bringing up the Biden family's enrichment with Chinese money - and at least a sidebar mention of their financial gains from Ukraine money as well. Hope his staffers work with him so he can phrase things just right.

I think I would be careful about that. Might be better just to throw in menton of Hunter Biden. Either it will be ignored or Biden will get really ticked off.
I doubt anyone could keep Trump on a script he didn't write himself.

Despite 90+% of the questions being Orange Man Bad type questions Trump handily won. Gave up counting the times Biden just flat out lied.

Republicans did not question the media or criticize the media enough in the past. They didn’t fight back against the bias. The debate commission has also been run by RINOs on the Republican side for as long as I can remember. None of this is new, the moderator bias was on display for Bush, McCain, Romney, etc. they were all too wimpy or go along to get along types to question or complain about it. Reagan actually did fight back a bit, he tended to do it a little more elegantly than Trump, but not as strongly.
One of the things I do like about Trump going back to when he was in the Primaries in 2016 was that he called out the media. He was never my first choice and sometimes his fighting back crosses some lines of politeness, but maybe that is what we have really needed.

My initial take on Trump when he started was that he was the political circus side show geek biting the heads off of the establishment's chickens. Still an appropriate description but he has moved his show to center ring and added more to his repertoire. None of which I see as a bad thing.

Plus, it is not very long ago that he got his own Justice Department on board. Between that and the impeachment threat, I think Trump was limited in some areas. Another 4 years might see better longer lasting changes.
My fear of a Biden win is the establishment types will be going all out to make sure someone like Trump cannot do that again.

A neat sign I've seen popping up around these parts has a picture of a scuba diver and, "Look under the surface - Trump 2020".
Considering what he has done with judges, now peace deals, and other stuff, that's an accurate campaign message.
Oh, and the back of the sign has a picture of a clown and simply says, "Joe Biden is a clown". :laugh:
