I know this happened a couple of weeks ago, but Big Media has called for a Ministry of Truth to silence those who exhibit "the highest form of patriotism (https://saywhatyoureallymean.blogspot.com/2009/08/dissent-is-highest-form-of-patriotism.html)."

Among the many ideas currently being thrown around, exploring ways in which to fight “disinformation and domestic extremism” is that of forming a cross-agency task force, whose head would be “something like a ‘reality czar’,” the New York Times wrote on Tuesday.
When Trump called out "fake news," he was an evil madman. When Biden is supposedly in charge, the Left wants someone fighting it officially, full-time. It's almost like they're saying fake news is the enemy of the people.

You have it reversed. Fake news is good for us, but we must be protected from real facts at all costs. If Big Media wants a Ministry of Truth, what they're calling for is a dog whistle(tm) for stifling dissent from the party line.
