Another one to add to the list.

Not to get all tinfoily, but:
"This made me stand up and actually look out the entrance door, and I saw a man with a submachine gun of some sort,
Is that kinda like the "concealable AR" used in Atlanta?

This is why we can't have nice things.

Remains to be seen if this is the shooting the dems are hoping for.

As a former FedEx investigator, back in the late 90's early 2000's we were authorized an encouraged to carry when we were on the job, but they stopped allowing their own to carry, I was working the NY/NJ Metro then moved down to Florida, weapons use to be shipped threw the system daily, along with ammo, they would sometime be stolen, I've locked up several stealing hand guns, long guns etc. Most locations I was in charge of had a very high turn over, due to a meat grinder type environment, a lot of employee hostilities, bad management, gang activity within the larger hubs, I could go into great detail, but yup, I left this company after 5 years on the job, not a pleasant place to work, politics, turnover, etc. R.I.P. victims, I wish I could have been their to save the day.
I saw this comment about the atmosphere at some of the Fedex depots. Hard to say if the commentary fits this situation or not, but it sounds more believable than "evil guns did it".

I'm betting on the angry ex-employee, recently fired, motive. For the bonus round, I'll add in "person of color."

Or a High Point carbine. We will see.

Security footage ought to be interesting ...

I don't have the reference handy, but some writer noted that a lot of mass shootings occur in March, April and May. Besides this year, the Columbine High School attack occurred in April, as did the Virginia Tech shooting. The shooting at a STEM school in Highlands Ranch (Denver suburb) was in early May 2019.
Also, this: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/apr/16/us-has-been-wracked-with-several-mass-shootings-in/

Last news report I saw said police are still trying to ID the shooter.
Edit: But seconds later I see they're saying the police are searching the suspect's home

Ban automatic rifles!

REPORTER

An Indianapolis City-County councilwoman is calling on Gov. Eric Holcomb and state lawmakers "to address gun violence" in the wake of the FedEx facility mass shooting.
Ali Brown, a Democrat, wrote on her Facebook page Friday morning that "the conversation will be tough, but we must get a firm grip of the situation and the collective epidemic — and if that means passing background check legislation, banning automatic rifles, and advocating for other common-sense gun control measures, let’s get that done immediately.

Craig McCartt, the deputy chief of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, says based on interviews with witnesses, the shooter came to the FedEx facility and “got out of his car and pretty quickly started some random shooting outside the facility."
“There was no confrontation with anyone that was there, there was no disturbance, there was no argument,” McCartt said. “He just appeared to randomly start shooting and that began in the parking lot and then he did go into the facility for a brief period of time before he took his own life.”
Police have not identified the suspect, but the FBI says its personnel are currently assisting in a search of his home.

He's been identified. 19 year old

Sources told CNN that the gunman was known to police and that his family had previously warned them of potential violence prior to the FedEx rampage. It is not clear when that warning was given

Here comes the renewed push for red flag laws
-
So how many are known to police or fbi, released like the deceased in Minnesota etc.? Maybe one more law will fix it.
-
So far Fly320s is doing pretty well. [dbag] has been identified as a "former FedEx employee".
Reported to police in March of 2020 for mental health issue, immediate detention made, and had a shotgun seized at the time. Interviewed by the FBI in April 2020.

I'm gonna go ahead and place my bet on a bipartisan, poorly written, and dangerous red flag law being passed (because can't you see that the current law isn't strong enough?).

Probably because those 50 don't fit a certain narrative

I guess I am unaware of around 50 of those.
I live close enough to Cleveland to be aware of their local news and didn't see anything about a "mass shooting". The usual east side hoodrat *expletive deleted*it is never more than a couple of blacks getting shot by a couple other blacks. To the point it's hardly news. Like how they report a stuff that goes down on the south side of Chicago. No one cares, so long as it stays there.
-
I guess I am unaware of around 50 of those.
Me too.
Technically, "mass shooting" is just a single incident that involves three or more victims (not including the shooter). However, the ones we are (and should be) most concerned about are the incidents like this, that take place in public (sort of) locations. Domestic incidents are horrible, but I don't think they should be discussed in the same narrative as mass shootings in places of employment, malls, and other public venues.

A police report obtained by WTHR shows authorities were called to Hole's home in March last year to detain him after he allegedly voiced suicidal ideas after buying a shotgun 24 hours earlier. In that incident, the report said police, who later took Hole to hospital, had 'seized shotgun from dangerous person'.
FBI Indianapolis Special Agent in Charge Paul Keenan told a reporter for Fox59 that 'the suspect's mother contacted law enforcement to report he might try to commit 'suicide by cop'.'
'The suspect was placed on an immediate detention mental health temporary hold by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department,' Keenan said.
'Based on items observed in the suspect's bedroom at that time, he was interviewed by the FBI in April 2020. No Racially Motivated Violent Extremism (RMVE) ideology was identified during the course of the assessment and no criminal violation was found.'
Keenan told Fox59 that 'the shotgun was not returned to the suspect' after the incident last March.
Hole's stepsister, who did not want to be identified, described him as 'isolated' and said their father died by suicide in 2004, she told NewsNation affiliate WXIN-TV.
'We do have a lot of mental illness in our family and he never got the help that he needed,' she said.

Just a random thought. Most of the articles I have read talk about the 19 year old man who did the shooting yet numerous articles I have read about victims of other shootings talk about the victim being a 19 year old teen, especially if the are non-white.

When it fits the narrative, liberals happily extend their definition of "child" to include those up to age 26.

Three names.
Why do these guy always end up reported with all 3 names? (Yes, I know, not everyone has a middle name, and not everyone only one.)

Because that is how the police release the name and because that is their legal name.

I read that the "family" has a history of mental illness.

I read that the "family" has a history of mental illness.
I read that his sister actually stated that.
Which tangents into red flag laws. Without those laws, we apparently already had a family "doing the right thing"* by seeking help from the authorities to no avail. What use is it expanding the law to allow "grudge reports" if viable reports are dismissed?
*In this case, from what I have read, IMO, the family did in fact do the right thing by seeking help from the authorities, vs some type of lefty panic "he likes guns" report.

Seems to be somewhat common for famous killers to be remembered that way
John Wilkes Booth
Lee Harvey Oswald
James Earl Ray
John Wayne Gacy
And so on
Ever notice how a parent will often call their child by all three names when they're in trouble? When we heard our parents use all three names we knew we were in trouble as a child.

I thought actors went by three names so SAG (the Stage Actors' Guild, of course) could tell them apart.

I thought actors went by three names so SAG (the Stage Actors' Guild, of course) could tell them apart.
My understanding of the SAG is that no two people can use the same name. That is why Michael J Fox is not known as Michael A Fox (his real name), as there was already a "Michael A Fox" on the SAG list.

Two "legally purchased assault rifles".
Brandon Scott Hole, the suspect in the FedEx shooting in Indianapolis, used two assault rifles that he had purchased legally last year, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said in an update on Saturday.
“During Thursday’s incident, the suspect, Brandon Hole, was witnessed using assault rifles in the assault. ATF conducted a trace on the two weapons,” police said. “IMPD learned that Brandon Hole purchased the rifles legally in July and September of 2020.”

I've been out of the work force awhile so excuse my ignorance, but can someone explain to me how 90% of Fed Ex's employees at the Indianapolis hub could have been Sikh, and many related, as in aunts, uncles, grandparents. Aren't major corporations supposed to be racially balanced under Federal law? The article I read said there are 50,000 Sikh living in Indianapolis, but there have to be other folks who want jobs with Fed Ex.

It's called replacement theory.
Official sources assure us it's not a corporate/government policy, and that any observations you make that raise questions about whether it is true or not are racist ie. bad think.

So affirmative action is racist?

Me too, but I doubt there was a Screen Actor's Guild in JWB's day. He's a special case, as he's (presumably) named after John Wilkes, so it makes sense to include his middle name in the story.
-
So affirmative action is racist?
Yup. It gives preference to one race over other races.

FedEx shooter Brandon Hole was obsessed with ‘My Little Pony’: report
https://nypost.com/2021/04/18/fedex-mass-shooter-was-obsessed-with-my-little-pony-report/
Posts on Brandon Hole’s since-taken-down Facebook page appear to indicate he was a member of the “Bronies” community
:O
“I hope that I can be with ApÂpleÂjack in the afÂterÂlife, my life has no meanÂing withÂout her,” Hole wrote on his Facebook page at 10:19 p.m. Thursday, less than an hour before his rampage began, the outlet reported.
The post included a photo of Applejack, a blond pony that is a main character on the show.
:O :O
-
Some members are sexually attracted to the characters, while the group also has allegedly displayed far-right tendencies.
The name Brony is a mashup between “bro” and “pony” — and the group has a history of extremist tendencies, the outlet said, citing an internal Facebook memo they reviewed that detailed the post.
“Brony onÂline culÂture has disÂplayed elÂeÂments of far-right and white naÂtionÂalÂist exÂtremÂism,” the memo stated.
Never heard that before but I'm not all that familiar with them.
Edit: After coffee jogged my memory maybe I have but is there anything to it?
-
Being a Bronie should be an obvious red flag mental health warning. Straight to the nuthouse with those weirdos.
-
To me, it says it is unlikely to be a white supremacist as some would like to see. (not that I know anything about that crowd)

I think it's just a matter of piling on a mass of politically aimed manure to further their desire to defame conservative opponents to their leftist agenda. The left keeps throwing muck at conservatives in the attempt to keep us off balance and constantly in defense mode.

My Little Pony fans need not apply.
Of course, I guess it is only a matter of time before they invent a form for the dealer to fill out evaluating their opinion of the buyer.

So discrimination is legal as long as it is against us. Nice.
To play devil's advocate, I'm sure the court's reasoning was that discrimination against the majority was legal, not that it was OK to discriminate against whites, specifically.
I used to have a lot of sympathy for that kind of reasoning, but the time for that is over. All of that special treatment needs to end now.

Good grief!
“I’ve been scared to go back,” Singh said. “I don’t know why this happened still. Was it random, or was it because of who I am?”
Who are you? Were you one of the people who was shot? If not, it obviously wasn't because of who you are. If another Sikh was shot, it may or may not have been because of his/her religion, but someone else wasn't shot because you are a Sikh.
Morons ...
