Our governor has done a decent job of handling the Covid crisis in Ky. That is up til now. He has decided that 2.5 million of us must be vaccinated before he will lift restrictions. He is something like 900,000 short of that requirement. Who will be the swing "vote" in this state?

4.8 million residents, magic number is 2.5 million vaccinated. Works out to be 52% vaccinated is magic I guess. This is the man who only won by 4 tenths of one percent of the voters, with neither candidate getting over 50% of the votes. Kentucky is a mess.

Now Beshear is backing off his statement saying he was only putting out a goal for people to be going for. Excuse me but we aren't kindergarteners who needed to be given goals and rewards. Do liberals really believe we are children who need a nanny?

Do I really need to answer that for you? =)
No, not really. However since you asked, I have found that there seem to be quite a number of folks who want to believe they have the right to tell me what I can and cannot do in recent years. Among the worst of them is doctors. I just got 4 reminder notices from the VA, one of which is for Covid testing. It says, "This is a drive through clinic, stay in your car during testing." I never scheduled a Covid test. I don't intend to have one. Who gives them any authority over me? It seems like the liberals have assumed they have authority I never granted them. I am the only one who can grant authority and I haven't done that since I enlisted in 1969, and had I known what I was doing, I wouldn't have. We've fallen a long way in the last 3 decades.
