Title: So what is your favorite mac'n'cheese recipe?
Post by: Bogie on June 21, 2021, 12:13:48 AM
This is a simple one...

Aldi shells and cheese - about a buck.

Two or three slices of either pepper jack or some hab stuff they have had lately. Maybe $0.75.

Package of their bacon bits - about $1.50 or so.

Add cayenne to taste/bravery...

Use about half of the package of squeeze cheese that comes in the box.

I have a recipe that I put together some years ago. It's a modification of an Alton Brown recipe. It's takes about 3 hours to make, but it is worth it.

I need to find it; I don't have it on this computer.

Elbow macaroni or small shells.  Nacho cheese sauce, from a No. 10 can.  And a little cayenne on top.

Needs bacon.

I may be doing Mac'n'Cheese for a group Thanksgiving thing, since it seems that local Bosnia restaurant is gonna wimp out because of the 'Rona. This might be somewhat adapted...
