So Cuba is getting sporty. Some personal observations:
I notice the protestors are proudly flying the American flag as a symbol of their fight for freedom. A little different than what a lot of already free morons with an easy life are doing in the USA.
Speaking of freedom, the NYT had this to say: "Shouting “Freedom” and other anti-government slogans,"
So "freedom" is an anti-government slogan? I guess these days they might actually be right.
The 46 administration is saying this is all because of the covid. I guess given how cozy the "Obama/Biden admin" was with Cuba, this is not surprising. Soon they'll be saying it's due to white supremacy.

Peaceful protests are growing in #Cuba as the Cuban people exercise their right to peaceful assembly to express concern about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages. We commend the numerous efforts of the Cuban people mobilizing donations to help neighbors in need.

On the radio this morning, they mentioned food shortages. I guess deaths due to starvation are listed as COVID deaths there. I wonder how they list death due to Govt crack downs or deaths in camps.
But why isn't Cuba's wonderful universal healthcare system taking care of this?!!! :O

Pretty much every MSM outlet I have checked has said this is all about covid food shortages. Oh, except a few are starting to blame Trump as well.

WAVE 3 News obtained a photo of the pickup truck (above) that had crashed into LMDC. It had “Patria Y Vida” spray-painted on the back of it. That is translated to “Country and life,” perhaps a rebuke of of the regime in Cuba, where demonstrators have taken to the streets in recent days to protest a lack of food and medicine and other economic shortfalls.

Maybe amend to US media. I'm not seeing this on any US MSM outlets, but Spanish media is covering it. Reporter taken to Cuban state police HQ. They came while she was on air with the Spanish station. They don't tell her if she's under arrest or not:
