Title: Adam Project
Post by: Bogie on March 14, 2022, 12:16:19 AM
Okay - I'm liking it so far... Looks like RW is also one of the producers... Twisted, but kinda fun, thus far.

Who is RW? What is the Adam Project?

You must understand that Bogie frequently posts with no referents and presumes you either took your Rx mind reading pills q.a.m. or are up-to-date with every nuance of the entertainment/movie industry.

However, to be fair, others are frequently "hip" to the latest whatevvvar and have no problem with this.

=D :rofl:

Terry, "Not a watcher of TMZ," 230RN

REFs (Making fun of my own premise):

Rx = "Prescription"
q.a.m. = "Before Noon"
TMZ = "Thirty Mile Zone"
230RN = Screen name of Terry
Terry = An iconoclast on APS
iconoclast = lit. "breaker of icons"
lit. = "Literally"
APS = <armedpolitesociety dot com>
dot = "."
com = Abbr. for "Commercial Site"
Abbr. = "Abbreviation"
IYCLAYWTHCYLAT? = "If You Can't Laugh At Yourself, Who The Hell Can You Laugh At?"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_zone

Quoth the Wiki:

Entertainment industry labor unions use the studio zone ( the "Thirty Mile Zone" -ed ) to determine per diem rates, work rules, and workers' compensation for union workers. For example, entertainment works produced within the area are considered "local" and workers are generally responsible to pay for their own transportation and meals; those outside the zone are considered "on location" and the studios are generally expected to pay for these things.[2]

So you knew that?

SWMBO and I caught it Sat evening. Not exactly Lawrence of Arabia, but it's fun. Dialogue between the two Adams is the best part. Don't know how they found a child actor that could hold his own against Reynolds, but they did.

On a related note, noticed that Skydance Television is the production company. They've been doing a lot of Made for NetFlix stuff as of late, most of which is pretty good.

"So you knew that?"

I search-engined it the first time I hit on that TV show "TMZ," and looked up the acronym.  You know me versus acronyms.
