Title: used tires on the ebay
Post by: Perd Hapley on May 27, 2022, 02:38:22 PM
So you can buy used tires on the ebay, with free delivery? well, slap my pappy...

cuz i have two old cars that need "new" spare tires, and i is not made of money

Now if one of these sellers will tell me something about the date codes on these tires, I'd be a little more interested.

FWIW, I've bought tires for my van there, and I'm happy with them. The guy is a pretty square shooter.

That said, if you keep your spares out of the sun, they should last fairly decently.

Around here, tire shops won't touch a tire that's more than 10 years old.

I guess I wouldn't be as worried about it if it hadn't been completely empty when I found it. And if it weren't the wife's car.

Good tip, Mr. Bogart. They were the only place I called that had one of both the sizes I needed. Took them less than 15 minutes. Tires look good, too.
