Captain McRamblepants raises eyebrows with mention of "a second pandemic".

Given Biden's gaffe-prone history, I'm thinking he was trying to say something about preventing a rebound recurrence of the  COVID pandemic but it came out wrong. However, this administration's history and shady tactics mean I can't discount other possibilities.

My biggest issue with what he said is that he wanted more money to plan for the next pandemic.  The CDC is there for that purpose.  They should already have the people and funding to plan.

Politicians LOVE big projects... A bullet train that can move a few hundred people twice or three times a day? That's BIG!
 
Adding a lane to the highway between the two cities, and putting more buses on the road? Meh...

Big projects mean The Big Guy's 10% is larger.

And if we really need more money to plan for the next pandemic, how about we quit funding bioweapon research in Communist China? (Or are we back to The Big Guy's kickback again?)

Thing is - if the progressive left could eradicate flyover country with some sort of bug that the obviously intelligent coastal cities could avoid, maybe by simply wearing super masks, they would do it in a heartbeat...
