Thought some of you might be interested...

Thanks for your e-mail inquiry about the Pentagon Amateur Radio Club
(PARC) K4AF 9/11 Special Event Station to be held on Thursday
September 11, 2008.

Our event will be held from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EDT / 1200 - 0000 Zulu.

We will operate in the General Class Amateur Radio HF bands and try
and operate at the lower 5-10 kc of each band.

We will concentrate on 80, 40, and 20 meters, but will try other
bands as propagation allows.

We hope to be listed on DX Summit and other spotting tools on the Internet.

We will not be using any IRLP or other Internet type of operations
for this event.

For those of you who did not receive a QSL card from our 2007 event,
I have your information and will send you a replacement QSL card in the mail.

We will be doing CW and RTTY modes as operators are available to work
those modes.

Actual QSL card size will be 4 x 6 inches and the card will fit
inside a 6 1/2 inch by 4 3/4 inch envelope.

This e-mail information and any other information updates will be
posted to the www.k4af.org website by Wednesday night.

QSL requests should be sent to:

PARC 9/11 Special Event
P.O. Box 2322
Arlington, VA 22202

Tune in to live TV coverage of the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial dedication
on Thursday and try and work us on the air!
