<10% of Current Cabinet Have Private Sector Experience

I found the JP Morgan graph posted at the below site rather interesting. Especially in comparison to even just past Democratic Administrations. Also given the percentage of public sector employees in the general population.

I would say it is more that only 10% of them have experience at getting things done.

I literally laughed out loud.  I say this as I currently work in R&D of drug/diagnostic company and what I see going on make me wonder how much damage will be done to our children's healtcare system. Two articles come to mind:

In the last 5 months I've seen major changes to the R&D side of the healthcare business and the changes and (being repetitive) from what I've seen they are basically an increase of red tape/lawyer fees and little to nothing else.  I know my own pair of eyes are a small sample set but I'm starting to wonder if the # of patents that come out in the next decade will be less than the number of patents that come on in the last decade.  A tall feat given the historical trends of technology and population growth.

Why bother these philosopher-kings with such pettiness as "real world experience?"  How many professors of economics or MBAs could run a fast-food franchise profitably?  These are exotic creatures that can exist only by breathing rarified air.
