I have a libertarian bent, and I'm a statist...sigh.

I would love for the people of the world to be able to live by libertarian ideals, but they can't,  so we need states.

"State of what"?....I don't know for sure...maybe another glass of Beaujolais whilst I contemplate these big fluffy snowflakes outside my window will help me figure it out.

My libertarian is unbent (so far), but that's not why I'm here.  This is a place to meet friends and relax over a cyber-beer and cyber-dog.  Politics can go hang for a while!
Let's put the fun back in dysfunctional!

Truly libertatian when people won't even say what the general beliefs of the board are/ought to be.

Cheers, friends!

(Just to annoy, in a good-natured way,
those who may be annoyed by that symbol.)

We may argue like cats & dogs about some issues,
but we're (cyber)friends.

If ... no, when, I meet you,
trust that from my perspective,
I'll meet you as friend,
regardless of our political differences.

Best,

Nem

PS1: first post on APS; good to be here.
I feel I'm writing among friends,
even if we differ in our views,
as friends do.

PS2: I like the translation of that acronym (APS)
MUCH better as Armed Polite Society than
Albuquerque Public Schools.

PS3: Got my CZ 452 in .22LR today.
