Um...title of the post pretty much says it.  VIPs were told to use public transportation if possible.  Al "The World Is Heating Up" Gore shows up in his own car and leaves it running for the entire time, 1 hour.

Actually close enough as per the article. The Swedish government, which apparently has very strict rules on govt jet use, flew him to Frankfurt on a govt aircraft so he wouldn't have to take the train.
