I laughed out loud when I saw this on TV . . . and I don't often do that.

My mother - bless her heart - was watching at the same time, and didn't know what I found so funny. So I explained to her the significance (and history) behind Allen West's one word answer.

Her response? "Good for him!"   =D

Republican establishment is throwing any and everything available up against the wall to see what sticks.  It is going deep on the depth charts to come up with something that threatens the TEA party types.  Perry made a mighty splash; Palin has yet to make up her mind.  Meanwhile Obama's number crumble even in core groups.  Interesting election coming at us.

Of course we can. Palin is an excellent standard bearer, should she choose to run. Perry is also acceptable.

West appears to be a good man, but I would like him to get more experience before looking for higher office.
