I don't know how this website looks on your browser, but I'm seeing one gas station in the city of St. Louis selling for
$2.59.

Paid 3.11 this morning.  Gas prices are continuing to slip on the commodities market.

I figured Okie would be cheaper since they make the stuff there.

Well there are a couple of refineries here in Tulsa but not sure what their output is.

As for oil production there seems to be more natural gas than oil production.  Plus as I think most here know but not a lot of people do is that most of the oil pulled from the ground here in the states isn't even refined here it is exported.  We import most of our oil in from South America such as Venezuela.

Not necessarily an indicator of interstate or intrastate oil prices:

Saw gas for $2.99 a gallon at a station very near my house. First I've seen it below $3.

Isn't there a ban on exporting domestic crude from the 1970's energy crisis? I think I remember recently a little bit of domestic crude was allowed to be exported.

here it is.

$3.19 this morning in NW Illinois. Filled up yesterday across the river with Iowa gas $290.9 at Sam's Club
I still need to fill the little sport coupe with hi octane before I put it away for winter. should be almost $1 per gal less than last year.
With the mid term elections coming up, are we sposed to thank our liar in chief and his minions for the relief?

$3.15/gal in Rockford, IL Monday.

$2.99 down the street at the Racetrac.

Oil has been volatile lately.  Up a couple of bucks a few days ago, then down to $80 this morning, now back up to over $83 this evening.  Still thinking it's bouncing along the bottom, getting ready to head back up.

Falling still. Here's the latest national map (I think the link should update to whenever you click on it, but check the date/time):

I think it going to hover where it is for a while. WTI and Brent are within $2 of each other as of 6:27am CDT, 10-17-14 and Saudi have taken the big box store method of oil, high volume/low prices.

We got an Ebola scare, ISIS running wild and other nastiness around the world, yet oil isn't spiking.

I saw $2.77 for 87 octane the other day.  I didn't look today, but the gas station I normally go to was around $2.80 last I saw.

The downward pressure on oil seems to have stalled. Yesterday oil and gas were both sharply up, today not as bad, but still up.

If prices stay in the $81 a barrel range for awhile, it will take a couple of weeks for gas prices to level off, but they should stay under $3 a gallon for at least while.

Filled up for 2.55 tonight.

It's been a while since my tank's been under 3/4. Every time the price slips a bit lower, I go ahead and buy some, just for the braggin' rights.
