$1.95 still.  We have a lot of local gas taxes though.

I paid $1.57 just now.

And I paid $2.39 about 5 hours ago.

It's been stalled in the $1.90 a gallon range here in Northern Virginia for the past month or so.

WTI crude dropped $2.00 today to $33.97.  Gasoline futures (RBOB) for February delivery dropped 9.49 cents today due to a wholly unexpected 10.6 million barrel build in stockpiles.
That should be good for prices next month.

I didn't realize this thread was over a year old.

I filled up for $1.49 today. I bragged to my wife, and she said she got gas for $1.46. She said she saw $1.45, later on down the road.

Gasoline has finally moved some at the stations in the area. The Citgo near my house dropped from $1.89 to $1.84. I expect the stations in Arlington to drop in the next few days.

I paid $1.689 for heating oil for my Mom this afternoon. Even better, heating oil futures are now below $1 a gallon.

Retail propane is under $1 per gallon.

Say what? I'm not seeing anywhere in the country where retail propane is even close to that.

Wholesale, yes, it's averaging about 65 cents a gallon right now, but depending on the area of the country, retail propane is between $1.40 and $2.50.

It is here in Iowa, big news all over the state about it over the weekend. Now this is the price off the truck, small retail outfits that fill grill bottles are going to charge more because they don't go through inventory like the residential/commercial delivery folks do.

Yeah, national retail prices are for home heating and water heating, not small tank prices.

Very interesting.

I may spring for a Buddy heater after all and get a 100 pound tank.

Ag marketers are urging farmers to buy propane now for next year's grain drying. When you go through 100,000+ gallons of propane for drying, nickels and pennies make a difference on your bottom line.

My propane tanks for the house were topped off on January 8th, and I just got the bill: $ 1.2491 per gallon.  This is 40 miles north of Seattle.

Central CA, $2.45 for regular and diesel, except holy cow, diesel was $2.07 at Costco this morning. I usually shine on the line at Costco for the lousy couple of bucks, but for that cheap for diesel, I think I'm going to get in line.

I need to check and see what propane is right now. The guy didn't fill up the tank when he was out last week (which he usually does, once a month except in Summer) so I have to wonder if they're waiting to see if the price goes back up so they can charge more next month.

I saw regular gas and diesel with matching prices this morning. 1.97 a gallon. I can't remember the last time I saw diesel below 2 dollars a gallon.
