I'm more interested in seeing how the Saudis respond long-term to Iran's plans to pump like hell.

And then pump some more.

Jumped 16 cents here overnight.  Up to $2.29 at the local stations.

We've been sitting in the 2.25-2.40 range here in Northern Virginia for the past couple of weeks.

The station near my house went up to 2.35, but yesterday dropped back to 2.29, which seems to be the average around here.

$2.65 yesterday. I found it interesting just now reading through the 30+ pages and seeing the price fluctuations.

Gas was a couple bucks in April when we got home to Michigan.  It was up to $2.53 the other day and today it was $2.48.  About a 50 cent increase over the last couple months.

Prices have gone up here, not too bad, only about $0.20/gal.  Cheap stuff's around $2.19.

Around here the average seems to be in the $2.50-$2.60 range.  Most places offer $.20 per gallon discount with car wash and few give an extra $.05 for cash.

Thought I'd resurrect this...

Gasoline in my area stalled in the high 2.20s to low 2.30s, and has started retreating.

Still in the mid 2.20s at most of the stations near my house, but yesterday I paid 1.999 per gallon in Mtnbkr's home town, which is about 15 miles from mine.

I haven't bought fuel this month yet but I know it will cost me more than it did on June 30th. :(

Quote
Effective July 1, 2016, the Washington state rate for gasoline and diesel increases by 4.9 cents per gallon, to $0.494. New combined state and federal tax rates are as follows:

Gasoline: $0.678
Diesel: $0.738

$ 2.35 at the Marysville Costco this morning, 40 miles north of Seattle.  The same that I paid last week, before the increase in the state gas taxes.

Wow. Crude oil, gasoline, and heating oil futures are being absolutely savaged today.

WTI crude is down over $2 a barrel, and heating oil and gasoline are both down over 7 cents a gallon.

We're around $2.03 a gallon, trending downward from about $2.19 a few weeks ago.

Ocala was $2.09 yesterday, and here in Gainesville,  it's currently $2.12.  Dropping a few cents per day.  Never know when to fill up.   lol

Last weekend in Indy I paid $1.85.  Most places there were $1.85-$1.89 as I drove around.

Of course, up here in the Chicagoland area, it's $2.19-$2.29 where I live (higher in Cook County and even higher in Chicago proper.)

We keep telling you to move to a place that has a little more freedom.  Notice how the more free a location is the cheaper the gas.

I'd suggest Virginia, but we seem to be moving away from freedom, currently.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
