When I flew out of Charlotte last Tuesday, gas prices were $2.06 at some stations in the area.  Here in the Portland area they are as high as $2.79.

Prices seem to have stabilized in Northern Virginia in the $2.20 to $2.40 range, depending on where you are.

Oil and related products are taking a huge beating today, though, with WTI falling below $45 a barrel.

Looks like all of Saudi Arabia/Russia/OPEC efforts to cut production and bring the price of oil up to the $60 a barrel level are generally failing, as it's just giving American producers a re-entry level.

And this is my sad face for OPEC...

Over here, they've been bouncing between about $1.99 and $2.27. Been that way for a few months, I think.

I paid $1.99 in Peoria last weekend.

I haven't seen it below $2.00 in Illinois in decades..

Here in the Ukraine it looks to be around a $1 a liter.

I am so jealous. It's just now starting to dip below $3 a gallon out here.

$2.05 to $2.09 around here.  Since our gas prices locally are somewhat disconnected from oil price per barrel, I expect it to jump at least 10 cents fairly soon.  We usually get a large bump after a few weeks of falling prices.

Looks like prices may continue downward for a while.  Apparently Libya and Nigeria have managed to re-start production, adding a total of 500,000 barrels a day to global (specifically Atlantic) output.  China is buying less than what they have in the past.   And there's a large tanker filled with crude floating off the west coast of Africa looking for a place to off-load.  Which is a sign that the glut is nowhere near ending.

$1 a liter is about $4.50 a gallon.  You might want to rethink being jealous.

OARP is getting pummeled again this morning and as of right now is under $43 a barrel.

I weep for Russia, OPEC, and Venezuela...

I can't remember the last time gasoline prices were in a general falling trend at this time of the year.

I think it's been over a decade.

Despite the pummeling the last week or so, gas prices here are being surprisingly resistant to movement even though oil is down over $2 a barrel and wholesale gasoline is down I think in the 5% range.

Still no bump in gas prices.  In fact, they have continued their slow creep downward, around $2.02-$2.04/gal. in the area.

California is relatively cheap in comparison...

Gasoline is roughly $5.73 a gallon in Britain.

In the Netherlands it's roughly $6.47 a gallon.

Here's a pretty neat website that will make you weep with jealousy or catatonic with shock at the average price of gasoline around the world.

This view should show US dollars per US gallon, but you might need to mess with the settings... http://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/

$2.35 here.  But we also have a pretty high tax burden on gas, but contrasting that is our vehicle registration is comparatively cheap.
