Best I've seen here in Northern Virginia is $2.15 at a couple of the independent chain stations.

The best price I've seen from one of the major chains is $2.19 at the Citgo by my house.

$1.98 at Costco.  $2.03 or $2.09 everyplace else.  A lot more 2.03's than there were yesterday.

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

I think the only thing that's keeping pump prices up right now is the impending 4th of July holiday. Expectations are for a HUGE driving holiday this year.

I just have a hunch that if OARP doesn't skyrocket this coming week we're going to see a big drop off in pump prices right after the holiday.

$1.93 ($1.90 after using the card) at a Pilot on I-70 east of Indy on our way back from the USAF Museum this weekend.  $2.12 ($2.09 after the loyality) at the Pilot in Gary.  (Another parent on the trip was looking a bit nervous and asked "Are we in Gary Indiana?"   Yep, this where I usually switch over from Concealed to Open Carry, but since I'm in Uniform, I can't carry.   Her:   :O :O :O :O)

Not sure what it is around here.  I've been sleeping most of the day...

Oil's been going up the last few days, and gasoline is following.

I'm seeing prices start to rise at the pumps.

The Citgo near my house is still $2.11, but a lot of the stations in the area are now in the 2.20s.

Three days ago the local Murphy was at $1.99.  Yesterday it bumped to $2.04 and today dropped to $2.03.

Somewhat related, last time I drove to Ohio I got 26mpg. I filled up with E85 as an experiment and got only 21mpg. That actually required me to stop for gas one extra time so I wasn't thrilled. I have seen E85 as cheap as $1.6x out in the country but only slightly cheaper in town where I presume they gouge for the green cred. Either way I don't think I'll be running it.

Started jumping around here today.  Up about a dime most places.  Those that didn't bump will likely rise tomorrow or Wednesday.

Paid $2.08 at the new Thorton's in West Chicago after my Doc appointment last Tuesday.  Paid $2.28 in Indy on Friday, and $2.32 in Gary on Sunday.

Prices around here are running $2.34-$2.49,

And I'm really pissed at Indiana Republicans for putting on a $.10/gallon tax.

Latest number I can find is that we import 7.2% of our oil from VZ.    IIRC, Conoco Phillips is the main Supplier from VZ to the US.

Late last week the local Murphy went from $2.05 to $2.15 overnight for the cheap stuff.

Went out today for some non-ethanol, that cost $2.85 per gallon.

Two different towns, about 10 mi. apart.

Around here, the regular grade had dropped to $2.25 at the cheapest station in my normal circuit as of two weeks ago. Then it started creeping up again. On Friday it was $2.33 there, and $2.39 at the two next-best stations.

Prices have been jumping pretty hard locally.

My one station went from $2.09 (IIRC) to $2.31 in a matter of days. Yesterday it dropped back to $2.29.

The other stations in the area seem to be between $2.19 (Liberty) to $2.59 (the ridiculous Exxon near my house)

What the hell is going on ???

I paid $2.12 at the Pilot acros from Iowa-80 on my way to and from KC.  I paid $2.07 at the Walmart on Flintlock (I think) in Liberty,MO.  I saw it for $2.11 at the Speedway station in  Warrenville, on the way to Waterman, thinking that it would be $2.00 or less at the Casey's in Waterman  (It's always about $.20 less there then it is around me.)  Nope, $2.29 in Waterman, IL.  Today I topped off at Thornton's in West Chicago after my Dr's. Appointment for $2.03.

Around $2.70 in western wy, eastern id. I heard people grumbling, but for me it's what I'm paying at home. It was $2.30 in southern utah, but for 85. I never use less than 87 though.

Prices have been starting to slip a bit here in NoVa.

The Citgo near my house topped out at $2.31, then slipped back a day or two later to 2.29.

This morning it's down to $2.19.

The stations near Castle Key are still in the $2.35 to $2.39 range.

I get that, but since it's a global commodity we can (and do import less, we used to import over 20% of our oil from Commiezuela.)  And since it's a global commodity, we can import from other sources and/or produce more of our own.  And once DAPL is on-line, the through put from the Dakota's will increase, as it'll be no longer rail car capacity dependent.

NO! NO!
