NPR news yesterday said that there is a glut of oil, but Saudi's are trying to keep the barrel price just under the price where US fraking operations start kicking in, iirc is around $65 a barrel.

Saw $2.09 this morning in Tulsa, my luck it'll spike by the time I need to fill up this evening.

Jumped from $2.18 to $2.65 in one shot at my usual station just after I filled up this morning.  Other local stations went to $2.39 or thereabouts yesterday.

Holy crap! I was moaning about a 10 cent a gallon jump at the Citgo near my house... It's up to $2.699.

All of the long-term predictions are that it's still a bleak outlook for oil producing nations and that we should see steadily declining prices once the Iran thing settles down.

Of course members of the Free Government Cheese party are screeching about how Trumpy Bear is single handedly pulling us into a war with Iran.

Back up to $3.36 today. I guess they're trying to raise it before the holiday weekend so they don't get in trouble for gouging... That was my first $55 fill up in quite a while.

Been awhile since we've looked at this.

Oil prices have been bouncing around quite a bit this summer and fall, but gasoline prices haven't really moved that much.

The Citgo near my house is still sitting at $2.55 a gallon. I found a Sunoco near my new office that had it at $2.34 a gallon, but after the Saudi refinery attack and price jump a few weeks ago it went up into the .$2.40s.

What really surprised me is that after the Saudi attack crude and gasoline futures prices skyrocketed. I was expecting a fast run up in gasoline prices, but that never really happened.

We saw a bump of ten to twenty cents after the attack on the Saudi facilities, but like in your area Mike, it took a week or better to kick in.  The bump wasn't consistent, with differing increases around the area, and some stations took quite a bit longer to raise their prices than others.
It was strange given that historically price increases due to supply disruptions have been pretty much immediate.
We reached high thirties, low forties for prices, and they have since dropped back to low thirties, high twenties pretty much everywhere.

Shot up to $2.90 ($2.80 at Costco) here last week. I guess Winter blend switch? I should check that. I need tractor fuel and don't want to fill up on the last of the Summer diesel blend.

We jumped 23 cents to around $2.45 late last week.  I'm sure they're switching over from the more expensive summer blends to the more expensive winter blends.

I just got back from a grocery run into town, and dang if it isn't $2.97 now.
