We are around $2.80 here in North Central Kentucky.  It fluctuates some outside of Louisville, which is usually 30-40 cents higher than the rest of the state.

My friends from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, are in town. They stopped by to see me after a family trip back to Pennsylvania after a death in the family.

He says that gasoline in Iowa is in the $2.80 to $2.90 range.

Oil prices have come down a bit in the past few days, but nothing substantial enough to bring the price of gasoline down anytime soon.

WTI is down over $5 a barrel, dropping into the $66 a barrel range.

RBOB Gasoline is down 14.5 cents a gallon right now.

Yikes.

Paid $3.90 today. Never thought I'd see $4 gas in Idaho, but it looks like I will before Summer's end. Thanks 46. Jackass.

Gasoline prices have pretty much stabilized in Northern Virginia.

The Citgo near my house is sitting at $2.999.

The Sunoco around the corner is at $3.049.

The Shell across the street from it is at $3.149.

I normally tank up at the Shell because I get rewards points at my local grocery store and they are paired with Shell.

Two weeks ago when I got I paid $2.349 with my points off.

For some reason, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah are way above the national average. According to the article, Idaho is normally 20-30 cents above the average, but is now ~60 cents above the average. Idaho apparently gets much of its gas from Utah. I was surprised to see that gas stocks are low in Wyoming though.

Just east of St. Louis, the prices around here range from $3.279 to $3.499/gal.  That high price is at a BP station near a major shopping mall while the majority of the stations range from $3.329 - $3.399/gal.
And IL-ANNOY had a gas tax increase on 7/1/21 and will now have one every year !  "Jabba" got a law passed in 2019 that allows this tax increase every year without the legislature having vote on it at all.  By not voting on it, they don't have to face the wrath of the voters.

We've been holding at ~$3.90. An article this morning indicates this is ~$1.40 higher than this time last year. Thanks again, 46.

Holding at $2.89-$2.99 here in Tampa.  At least they changed the auto shutoff at the station I normally go to so I can fill up in one swipe of the Credit Card now.

Prices here in Northern Virginia have been stable for about 2 months now. $2.999 at the Ctigo around the corner, $3.149 at the Shell where I use my grocery store rewards points.

Price of oil has been slumping the last week, so we may see a little easing at the pumps unless it shoots back up.

I paid $3.98 for super this morning in northern NJ. That was my first $60 fill up in quite a while. Might be time to start taking it a little easier on the throttle, the Challenger only did 15.2 mpg that tank.  :O
