Down around 2.77 or so in the Tulsa area.  Saw in the OKC area some places as low as 2.49.

Trying to decide if I should top off today for roughly 300 miles this weekend, or wait and see if it drops another $.08-.10 since we're usually a few days behind and a few cents above the price trend for the metroplex.

Never thought I'd see it again, but I filled up for $2.89 at a CA Costco yesterday. Diesel is still hovering near four bucks.

$2.84 is the last price I paid on Friday in Marshalltown, IA.

The stations around me right now are in the $2.79 - 2.85 range.

I was out in Mtnbkr's neck of the woods last week and saw $2.67.

2.509 last night at Sheetz for the standard ethanol crap. Next few weeks I am going to get my truck on the road and appropriate a few 55 gal drums from my dad. If I can find no ethanol for close to $2.50 then two drums with sta-bil are going into the barn.

$3,09 around here.  We are headed to Peoria this weekend for Pheasant hunting, so I will have to buy gas in Illinois,  However, it is$2.71 at the Pilot on Bloomington, which makes it $2.66 after my $.05/gal discount.

One of the news stations here in Tulsa did a story on stations claiming 100% gas.  A couple of them were actually at about 10% ethanol.  Of course when asked who was at fault everyone was pointing fingers at everyone else.  As it is you really don't know what crap is going into your tank unless you "brew" it yourself.

On a 15gal tank, that .10 is a whopping $1.50.

Today it was $2.53.  Last week it had been $2.58, for the better part of a week, then overnight it went to $2.68.  A couple days later it started dropping again, to today's low.

I paid $3.049 for 93 octane today to fill up the Mustang.

Regular is $2.45 down in Montgomery, but I  don't want to drive 170 miles to get gas.

Gas is headed back up fast.  Up 12 cents in two days this week.  Oil is up almost $10 a barrel over the last two weeks due to US rigs being taken out of production.  Most curious because oil production is still rising in the US, and so are oil and distillate stocks.

The oil price rise does not appear to be a dead cat bounce, though.  Back to $3-something a gallon by June?

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

The labor dispute is part of it, but from what I've read only a small part.  It's apparently the large number of rigs being taken out of production in the US.  Even the Permian Basin fields that don't rely on as much fracking are seeing a significant drop in rig count.

Labor dispute

Hahahaha, they are bitching about the high out-of-pocket and health insurance costs.

YOU VOTED FOR THE *expletive deleted*er, AND NOW YOU ARE GETTING IT GOOD AND HARD.  SUCKS TO BE YOU.

Anyway, fire them and hire the replacements.  Given the economy (and the location of Whiting near Chicago), I bet there's a Revload of folks that would love to have those jobs.

But yeah, production is dropping as prices drop.  HELLO Supply and Demand !!  I figure it will settle at around $2.50/gal.  Maybe a bit lower.  It's $219-$2.39 around here.  I filled up for $2.19/gal on Saturday.   Still pretty cheap compared to what Obama and Chu wanted back in 2008-09. ($9-$10+ per gallon)
