A little culture clash

Basically child brides and their husbands are among the Syrian refugees/immigrants/whatever.  Norway is struggling with whether to prosecute them or not.  Example in the article is a pregnant 14yo girl with an 18mo child, married to a 23yo.

As abhorant as it is, they were not subject to Norwegian law.  Norway invited it into their county..  enjoy your new normal.

They're subject to Norwegian law now however. If he's touched his wife since they crossed the border, prosecute.

When you are being offered a refuge, you conform to the demands of the offering state, or GTFO.

Is THAT how it's supposed to work? Imagine that. What a quaint idea.

It's a long ass way across Russia to get to the north of Norway to cross the border.

I do have to somewhat applaud the Russians for not letting them fester in Russia and moving them to Western/NATO countries.  I guess it's pay back for the Lenin in the sealed railway car...
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.
