Almond Flour Waffles
« on: September 10, 2017, 09:14:58 AM »
I made these today: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/110926/almond-flour-waffles/

They're really good.  I didn't have honey, so I used a slightly smaller amount of real maple syrup.  I also added a bit of extra almond flour because the batter looked a bit too thin (might be because I used extra large eggs).

I like them better than regular waffles.

What drove you to try almond flour?

The need for low carb and still wanting "baked goods".

Didn't know that almond flour was low carb. Interesting.

Didn't know that almond flour was low carb. Interesting.

Only 3 grams of net carbs per serving.

Though, those waffles are good enough that I'd eat them even if I didn't need low carb.
