Brexit is official?
« on: January 31, 2020, 08:17:30 PM »
I heard Brexit is a done deal today. Is that really really done or just another step? What is the practical impact?

Good for the Brits.

A pox on the EU.

I believe there are some changes that don't take effect until the end of the year, but yes it is official. If you're not aware, the Tory Party (more friendly to Brexit) won bigly in the elections a month or two ago. I get the impression that ended any chance of stopping Brexit.
