Imagine the MSM's reaction if Trump had said that

Joe Biden Babbles Incoherently During CNN Town Hall Train Wreck

Is this the guy that said Mitt Romney would put black Americans "back in chains"?

Good grief, that was bad.  Probably the worst yet.  How much lower must Joe sink before someone in the administration or Congress does the appropriate thing.  I really thought that Ramblin' Joe was going to be removed from office via the 25th Amendment by this point.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

Not that this would make much difference:

Yeah, that is scary. We drive the same roads with the 22.5% of people so detached from reality that they are very confident she is ready.

That looks like an edit job of some kind.  On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's real.  It's so hard to tell with him being addled by dementia.

I think it's more of a "power of suggestion" thing. If I hadn't read the article first, I don't know if I would have picked up anymore than gibberish, or maybe, "Ice cream is what I like!".

Without any explanation of what it is I asked her what he was saying. She went with "My butt is white".  Then she went off saying whoever voted for him is an idiot and they got what they deserve. But the rest of us sure don't. :(

Remember back in the old days when a president being unclear or even confusing when speaking was a major crisis that reduced people's confidence in the nation?

Also remember that it was perfectly okay to ridicule the president for such errors?

How long ago was that anyway?

We've come a long way as a nation since then.

Worst president we’ve ever had did it a century ago. Wilson. I drive past his library nightly. Used to hang out one block away. Never an urge to visit.

Presidential libraries should just be wings of the library of congress and colocated:  Convince me I'm wrong.

I like it. Also we could significantly downsize them.

Maybe we could repossess the iPod loaded with his speeches that Obama gave to the queen of England and put that on a shelf somewhere for him.

For Trump we could do a DVD set of The Apprentice and a symbolic dead bird.

Now Biden is engaging in confabulation.  Another symptom of advanced dementia.

By my count, Pres Biden today sat for his 9th news interview, his 2nd with
@GStephanopoulos
.

Compares with predecessors at same point in presidency:

Trump: 50 interviews
Obama: 113

And today he's apparently heading to Delaware to rest because this is all too much for him. I have to wonder if this guy will make it a full year.

I didn't think he'd last six months.
