China and their expanding naval presence.

Didn't see this talked about. Pretty telling that this was revealed the day after the inauguration.

China has authorized their Coast Guard to fire on vessels and structures within areas that they claim as theirs.

China's attempt to enforce territorial waters claims - claims which stretch almost to the beaches of several other nations - will no doubt be a source of problems for a long time to come.

Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Isn't it amazing how many of those islands didn't even exist 20 years ago?

With global warming melting the ice caps, they won't exist again 20 years from now.

Many of those islands were not manufactured by the Chinese, and they have no legitimate claim to them.  The Spratly Islands are an example.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

It is amazing how there may be abundant oil and gas reserves in these new lands claimed by the PRC.

If they can take them, and hold them, they have a legitimate claim.  That's how Nation-States work.
