a Biblical description of our "leaders"
« on: March 18, 2021, 01:37:10 AM »

I read this on a forum somewhere, and loved it's accuracy. It fits our current political leaders perfectly.

>  "There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an
> abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed
> innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste
> to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows
> discord among brothers." Proverbs 6:16-19.

Lots of good stuff in proverbs, to fit the present situation.
In thy presence is fulness of joy.
At thy right hand pleasures for evermore.

31 chapters, easy to read one chapter a day and go through it once a month.
The wish not to believe can influence as strongly as the wish to believe.

Who can escape their own cognitive biases?

A bit much to try to get through all at once.
In thy presence is fulness of joy.
At thy right hand pleasures for evermore.
