Army of the Dead - Netflix

Damn, but I'm liking Dave Bautista more and more. Really liked him supporting in Hotel Artemis.

This flick? I give it two wrist slits, up the stream, not bridging it.

Sorry, but it was a frickin' depressing zombpocalypse venture. And I understand that they're setting up for "parallel universe" sequels, possibly with some weirdness from the evil rich guy who was paying them.

Lots of shooting, gore galore, some actual character development, whatever... Just frickin' depressing. Not even counting the whole bit around "uh... he ain't gonna be able to climb 20 floors in two minutes" cinema... Frankly (spoiler, and I don't care...), if the director had whacked the daughter in the first 30 seconds, it could have been a better movie... So sue me.
