Win10 latest update & news feed?
« on: June 10, 2021, 09:16:03 PM »
I just installed the latest update to Win10.  It installed some kind of news feed that's showing up on the task bar at startup.

I don't want this running, at all.  I can't locate it in the Startup folder or on the Task Manager Startup tab.  Some quick online searches didn't come up with anything.

Anyone got a suggestion?

Right click on task bar
Hover over News and Interests
Select turn off

I just did an update on my work laptop that our IT group pushed out.  I will have to check it.

I saw that pop up yesterday on mine. While easy to turn off, one of course wonders if it's really "off". Never can tell these days.
