Outlook question
« on: July 27, 2021, 10:59:07 AM »
The municipality I'm working for uses Outlook as the e-mail client and group calendar. Hardly a surprise.

I can log into the Outlook account from home using the on-line Outlook app. My problem is that I am an olde pharte, and I prefer to keep each e-mail message separate. I can choose whether or not to use a "threaded" or "conversation" view in the desktop Outlook (I turn off "conversation" view). I can't find any way to turn off "conversation" view in the on-line app, and it slows me down considerably when I have to try to navigate my way through the mess of a long series of e-mail exchanges.

Is it possible to disable conversation view in the on-line Outlook?

There is a little gear icon in the upper right for Settings.  Click on that and a dropdown box will have the option to adjust your conversation view to either newest on top, newest on bottom, or off.

yeah, I'd look for an option to sort by time.
In thy presence is fulness of joy.
At thy right hand pleasures for evermore.

Fixed. Thanks.

From comments I've seen on-line, apparently I'm not the only user who finds the "conversation" view maddening.
